Our History

In 2012, Frank Perez, April Hoss, and Jeremy Livermore decided to see through the evolution of a small after school program into a cutting edge learning center, ReWritten.

Frank joined the after school program in 2010, a couple of years before they began the process of closing. It was the prospect of underserved young people losing a vital resource that propelled Frank, April and Jeremy to cofound ReWritten.

Together, they established ReWritten’s status as a 501(c)3 nonprofit public charity, a safe place for kids and teens to learn life skills, explore the arts, receive tutoring, and build mentoring relationships.

ReWritten serves children and families in struggling communities and today continues to ReWrite the lives of all involved; from the children, to the team, to the donors and volunteers, futures transform here, in big and small ways, everyday.
